To the community,
Whenever we travel, I check tripadvisor to get information and other traveler’s reviews on “Things to Do”, restaurants, and hotels. After benefiting from the reviews of many other people, I decided to post some of my own reviews of places here in Greene County this past month.
Although tripadvisor sports about 200 million reviews, there were only two things to do listed here in Jefferson. There were over a dozen restaurants listed but few had reviews and pictures. Most still don’t. Julie and I have now posted information on several great places, but there is a lot of story that still needs to be told about Greene County on this travel site.
If you Google “Jefferson, Iowa tourism” the first site listed is tripadvisor. What is now on tripadvisor is, in my opinion, a small fraction of what we can tell potential visitors to encourage them to stop in Greene County while driving through on Highway 30.
Please consider taking 15-20 minutes and writing a review or two or posting a picture on
tripadvisor about the many things to do, places to eat, and places to stay. It is kind of fun.
